Tusha Black tea is famous African tea from Kenya. Tusha is not a name of garden or plantation. It is name of Company.

Tusha Tea factory make CTC grade of teas and lot of orthodox black and green grades. Company grow, process and supply tea and tea extracts  and botanical solutions to major beverage brand owners.

They are Rain Forrest Alliance certified Company and possess ISO22000 : 2018 and HACCP certification. Orthodox tea is hand processed through rolling by hand or machines that mimic this action.  It is a fancy looking grade. It consists of big, very tightly rolled leaf resulting in a very attractive twisted and wiry appearance. The production of orthodox standard is very small and we are very proud and happy to offer this unique tea range to our customers.

The liquor is quite balanced with touch of sweetness and lively notices of spiciness. For lovers of Kangaita tea it is the must to try it: give it a go!!!  

Brewing tips:

Classic: 2 to 3 grams, 200 mills of water at around 95+ C degrees, 3 to 5 mins depend on preferences. Infuse with boiling water for up to 3 minutes if you want your tea stimulating and energizing; 3-5 minutes if you want it to have a soothing and relaxing effect. 

After you have finished brewing, take the leaves out of the cup/teapot – if they remain in the water too long, they start releasing tannins. Tannin makes tea taste bitter, inhibits absorption of magnesium and iron which are necessary for the body to function properly.
